One of the most effective detox foot bath recipes can be made right in your kitchen. The hot water and salts work to leach toxins from your system and draw them to the reflexology channels and out of the feet. This is an very easy thing to do for yourself and it’s cheap!
DIY Foot Bath
Ingredients
1 Cup sea salt (non-iodized)
1 Cup epsom salt
2 Cups baking soda
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Fill a foot basin with hot water (purified water that is chlorine- and fluoride-free is best) and stir in ¼ cup of the detox mixture.
- Find a relaxing place to sit and sit with your feet in the water for 30 minutes.
- After the foot bath, rinse with purified water.
- If desired, you can further your cleanse with an essential oil in the Cleanse Your Receptor Sites protocol and/or moisturize with an organic lotion.
- Store remaining mixture in an airtight container. It can be stored for up to 6 months in the refrigerator or indefinitely in the freezer.
